Dear PROCLAIM 2016 Delegates,
Thank you for registering as a delegate at PROCLAIM 2016!
We are excited to welcome you to Chatswood, Sydney, for three days of sharing, learning and discussing the missionary call and potential of our parish communities.
Below, you will find helpful links with the information you need to make the most of your time at the Conference. This includes details of public transport, which is recommended across the three days of the Conference, information on how to buy an Opal Card for travel purposes and links to nearby accommodation as well as local restaurants.
Note that registrations begin on Thursday 1 September from 8:30am at the Civic Pavilion.
Staff will be on hand at the registration desk at all times to assist upon your arrival. It is here you will pick up your lanyards and proceed to the Concert Hall for our Welcome and first Keynote, Cardinal Wuerl, commencing at 10am. A map of the venue is attached to this email. On the evening of Thursday 1 September, you may wish to share dinner at a local restaurant with other delegates from your diocese. Delegates will meet at 6pm at the Civic Pavilion to make their way to this informal dinner. If you would like to attend, please email your own diocesan representative as soon as possible from the list attached so that your group can make a suitable reservation. Where a diocesan representative has not been nominated, you are more than welcome to meet at 6pm at the Civic Pavilion and form your own group for dinner or to join another group for a meal.
I draw your attention to the Chatswood Emerge Festival Street Fair which is taking place on Saturday 3 September, 10am-4pm.
